“Be who you are and say what you feel, because the people who mind don’t matter and the people who matter don’t mind” (Dr. Seuss). This is the quote by which Greg Johnson, faithHighway’s blogger, lives by. Since January, Greg has used the highly popular medium of a blog to educate and inspire faithHighway clients and prospects alike.

While most people may recognize Greg for his blogging skills, maintaining this informative, sometimes quirky blog is only a small portion of who he is and what he does.

Greg’s official title is production manager, which basically means he is there from the first design through those two great words go live. He works with clients through the production process to help them communicate their vision. This is the part of the job that Greg truly enjoys. He likes taking a pastor’s vision and translating that for designers and programmers to bring back a site that truly excites a pastor. He says, “It is rewarding doing something bigger than myself.”

Most of our clients are working full time in the ministry. While most faithHighway employees are not in full time traditional ministry, work at faithHighway is a vocational ministry for Greg and for all of us. It is exciting to be part of a company which partners with churches and ministries to work towards the greater goal of spreading the truth.

Greg’s favorite scripture is 2 Corinthians 5:13, “For if we are beside ourselves, it is for God; if we are of sound mind, it is for you” (NASB). Greg likes this scripture because it reflects the idea that sometimes we do things to better serve God but the world sees them as crazy and irrational, but it is always worth a few strange glances from strangers to hear “Well done, good and faithful servant”( Matthew 25:21, NIV).

It is an exciting opportunity to be able to merge my faith with my work. Through my years of working with faithHighway, I have learned, and continue to learn, a multitude of strategies and concepts that when employed, help churches and ministries increase their online potential.
