Throughout the process of developing a website with faithHighway, clients interact with a number of people. They begin with a sales person, who shows them the possibilities, then a preproduction specialist walks them through the specific options that will benefit their ministry, finally, a production manager helps to refine their vision into the perfect website. While these are the people who talk with the clients and are essentially the face of faithHighway, there are many people working from behind the scenes to aid in the overall process of building a website. One such division of faithHighway is the graphic department. They are the ones working diligently to apply their creative eye to envision a variety of website styles and designs.
One of our designers is Ben Hollander. He has been a graphic designer with faithHighway since September 2006. Ben will celebrated his third wedding anniversary this past June, which was be quickly proceeded the birth of his first child.
Ben graduated from the University of North Texas in 2006 with a degree in Radio, TV and Film. His hobbies included watching and analyzing movies and television shows.
Ben wants to encourage us with 1 Corinthians 11:1, “Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ” (NIV). As he prepares to bring a son into the world, he wants to make sure he is living a life that is a good example. We should all take into account who is watching us and looking to us to show them Christ’s character. Whether in regards to our congregations, friends, coworkers, or strangers, being Christians makes us reflections of Christ, and we should strive to reflect Him accurately.
Ben enjoys designing websites. He is able to take something he enjoys and fit it into a career and a ministry. He says sometimes work feels more like play than anything.
Ben takes 1 Corinthians 11:1 to mean that in his work as a designer he has the opportunity to help churches and ministries reflect Christ to the world.
