General

While faithHighway is mostly known for our work with churches, we also have a variety of businesses that have taken advantage of our easy-to-use editor environment and customizable graphics and tools. One such entity is the local minor league hockey team, the Austin Ice Bats. The Ice Bats are a CHL affiliate and associated with the Minnesota Wilds and Houston Aeros.

The Austin Ice Bats came to faithHighway for a website that would improve their online presence and be a great resource for fans and sponsors alike. While the site is fairly new, they are already experiencing positive results. A sports team, like a church or ministry, has updates that need to be made at least weekly, if not more often, to the site. The faithHighway editor has allowed the team to keep the fans up-to-date on scores and game highlights as well as upcoming games and events. This website has given the Ice Bats a cleaner and more professional look and feel. The team’s favorite aspect of the site is the flash introduction.

It is also exciting to see the way in which the Ice Bats are utilizing the Sermon Connect tool. While most faithHighway clients use this as means of spreading the gospel through video sermons and daily devotionals, the Ice Bats have taken this tool and used it as a way to communicate more effectively with their fan base by creating an article archive of all the news surrounding the team. As the site continues to grow, they plan to also utilize the audio and video features for a variety of press releases.

faithHighway enjoys partnering with churches, ministries, and businesses alike to improve their online presence through a variety and adaptable set of tools, features, and graphic elements.
