Faith Tabernacle in Connecticut is a long time client of faithHighway. Through the years, they have experienced church growth and change; they have come back to faithHighway time and again to redesign and rework their website to match their various needs.
This non-denominational church began in 1977 under the leadership of Bishop Marvin Stuart. It was handed over to the care of Senior Pastor Kent Elliot in early 2000. With only 50 members in those early years, the church has grown to over 250.
Pastor Elliot graduated in 1992 from Jackson College of Ministries and began his ministry as youth pastor at Faith Tabernacle. Now, he and his wife lead this dynamic church as they pursue God and seek to make Him known throughout their community. He is passionate about his ministry and believes that a strong online presence is vital to ministry. “The investment you make into your web site is quickly justified through the souls that you reach and the finances that are acquired through more first time visitors that become church members” (Pastor Elliot).
One of the newest features of the faithHighway Ezine is the Pastor-2-Pastor section in which various guest ministry leaders share words of encouragement. In the latest issue, Pastor Elliot shares with us. faithHighway is excited to be partnered with a church that recognizes the fundamental necessity of a good online presence.
