Meet the Staff: Andy Grove

General

Probably one of the most exciting phases of getting a new website is the production phase. After the work has been scoped out and all the paperwork signed, clients get to watch their sites come to life through a series of designs. The people at faithHighway who work with clients to make this process productive and smooth are the production managers. One such production manager is Andy Grove.

Andy is originally from Minnesota but graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with minors in Business and Sociology. Andy is very close to his family. His parents will soon semi-retire to Vermont and his brother is leaving for six months to join the Americorps. But until then, Andy enjoys sporting events with his dad and brother and lunch with his mom at least once a week.

Some of Andy’s interests include watching Viking and UT football. He also enjoys playing video games, reading, and socializing with friends. He also likes music, especially playing his bass clarinet with the Austin Civic Wind Ensemble.

At faithHighway, Andy is the senior most production manager, which includes a variety of duties. First and foremost, he works with clients in order to convey clients’ website goals to the faithHighway design and programming departments, help clients understand processes, show the benefits of faithHighway tools, and consult on the effects of different graphic elements. He is also on the team that produces this monthly Ezine. He coordinates with the administrative staff to draft official business correspondence, and he is currently working with the faithHighway development team to beta test an exciting new tool that will be offered in the near future. When asked about his work here at faithHighway, Andy said, “I really like working with our clients, and I’ll always do my best to make sure that their websites meet their needs and exceed their expectations, even if I have to do so at 3:00 am.”

Andy and the entire production team work hard to help each client turn vision into reality.

It is an exciting opportunity to be able to merge my faith with my work. Through my years of working with faithHighway, I have learned, and continue to learn, a multitude of strategies and concepts that when employed, help churches and ministries increase their online potential.
