September’s Great Church Websites

Fri, Sep 19, 2008

General

Already this month, we have had some great church websites go live!

eaton-cob

Eaton Church of the Brethren is up first. Eaton COB is located in Eaton, Ohio. Eaton COB started out in a basic Kings theme site but jazzed it up a bit with several flash pieces. Eaton COB also takes advantage of several great tools from faithHighway: Advanced Forms, Sermon Connect Platinum, Floating pages and more.  Eaton has also done a great job on their content!

grace-church

Grace Church of Seattle, Washington is up next. Grace Church has a custom layout and a very classy, intriguing site. This client has great content and the site is very informative for first time visitors and members. This client is also taking great advantage of several tools from faithHighway- Advanced Forms, so people can register for events; Password Protected Pages, so Members can log in and get important information;  a Virtual Tour that displays images from the church and many more. Great job Grace Church!

Last up for this month is Church of God, Greenville, Ohio. Church of God is one of our only sites to be displayed in four languages! It was a task and is still a task to maintain for the client, but it looks great! The client has four custom church websites built into one: English, Spanish, Russian and German. This client is taking advantage of the Sermon Connect Platinum, Flash Photo Gallery and many other tools. We hope that this becomes a great tool for Church of God to communicate to the viewers in various languages.

That wraps it up for this month’s edition, but check back toward the end of next month and we will have another great collection for you. Thanks to the team for working so hard to build such great church websites!

It is an exciting opportunity to be able to merge my faith with my work. Through my years of working with faithHighway, I have learned, and continue to learn, a multitude of strategies and concepts that when employed, help churches and ministries increase their online potential.
