Valley Church of West Des Moines, Iowa started in 1990 when it was commissioned by the Johnston Evangelical Free Church. They began their church plant with just forty members, but in one blessed decade, they jumped to over one thousand members. The church is involved in ministry both in their local community and across the globe. From ministry partnerships in India to college ministries and reaching out to the needy of the community, this church is experiencing tremendous blessing in their efforts to reach the lost.
This project includes:
- A custom church web design homepage with rotating flash navigation that allows the church to change out the images so as to highlight new events or sermon series
- Several sub sites with unique, custom design and flash work
- E-invite and online giving to allow members to connect with the church through both outreach and by giving support
The church has embraced the World Wide Web as a medium to attract new visitors and enable their current membership. With not only a main church website, but by focusing on the various areas of their ministry through four additional sites geared towards Women, Children, Outreach, and Care giving, they have created a vibrant online presence. When asked about the experience of working with faithHighway, the Music Minister, Kevin David, said,
“This has been a fantastic experience for us. The whole team has been very considerate and professional. We are extremely excited about how this website is going to complement and propel our ministry.”
Hopefully, with this enhanced web presence, Valley Church will experience more growth and quality of ministry in the years to come.
