Lose your Job, Get Your Offering Back – Church Marketing Sucks
Generous News has the story of one church who is making a guarantee: If you lose your job, we’ll give your offering back. It’s reminiscent of the Hyundai Assurance, if you’ve seen those commercials. They say, “Buy a car, lose your job, return your car for a full refund.”
Restore or Retreat – Coded for Worship
A true friend, according to Proverbs, is one who loves at all times. Not some of the time, or only when he/she wants to or is comfortable with the friendship. Okay first off, just the fact that GodTube changed their name to Tangle intrigued me to go check it out! I mean, not that I’m ashamed of the gospel, but there are certain hindrances that can be built up by unbelievers and even believers when Christian social networks attribute cliche titles and such to their projects where it can seem more “religious” than anything.
My hope and dream is that Christian artists and laymen will lead the pack in terms of creativity, art, and media savvy. Hopefully, with the “re-birth” of Tangle their may be a space where this can be birthed and displayed; where burgeoning artists, directors and filmmakers can introduce a new standard in the quality and caliber of media we produce.
