Recently, Restoration Baptist Church; Indianapolis, IN requested we remove Sermon Connect from their site for financial reasons. Even though we were willing to work with them and offered 3 extra months free, the leaders of the church still felt that the right decision was to go ahead and remove their media.
After this decision was made some of the Trustees reported on their decision to have Sermon Connect removed and some congregation members expressed their objection to removing it. A couple of members even committed to working on the technological issues so that they can fully utilize the Sermon Connect features while others committed to donate the funds needed to keep it up. Another good thing arose out of this church meeting; another member offered to assist with updating and maintaining their website.
The church members were extremely grateful for the 3 extra months that we gave them. This gift was offered by faithHighway as a blessing to their church and was multiplied by its own members. The leaders of this church found out quickly just how important their website and media is to their members.
