Meet the Staff: Craig Littlejohn

General

craigHe chuckles to himself as he hears his coworker hang up the phone from a prank call. Craig Littlejohn takes his job as an outreach consultant seriously, but enjoys pulling pranks on his coworkers to keep things lively around the office.

Once, when his coworker, Eric, bet him that he couldn’t reach a certain goal in a day, Craig ended up exceeding the goal. Since Eric lost the bet, he had to do a little jig on his desk, which Craig enthusiastically recorded. He’s always looking for ways to encourage people, even if it means a little bit of humiliation.

Craig has been with faithHighway since June 2007 and has enjoyed his role of helping pastors maximize the use of the internet in their ministries. Craig said,

“It’s encouraging to me when a pastor calls and has a testimony to share with me of how their website helped them reach people that they normally wouldn’t reach.”

Being a pastor is tough sometimes and Craig knows this because he is one. He graduated from Life Bible College in San Dimas, Cali., with a degree in youth ministry and Bible. He moved to Austin from Southern California to help with a church plant. He currently leads worship for his church and enjoys reaching out to people in his community.

He is married to Stacy, whom he adores and misses when he has to travel with work. They have two little boys, Micah and Levi, who are the joy of their lives.  Craig loves hearing his boys’ laughs and their snores. He shares this story:

“The other day, Stacy told Micah it was time for his nap. Micah ran and covered himself up on the couch and started fake snoring with his eyes open. It was hilarious.”

One verse in scripture that Craig is learning to live by is John 3:30:

He must become greater; I must become less.

Craig encourages all of us by saying,

“We have to decrease, so Jesus can increase. I try to walk in humility and know who I am in Christ.”

One of his goals this year is to continue finding the most effective use of social media tools for pastors to use. One way he is achieving this goal is helping with the Media Outreach team at faithHighway. As Craig puts it,

“The goal of the Media Outreach team is to help pastors, beyond our clients, learn how to use tools like Facebook and Twitter for the Gospel.”
