H.E.L.P. makes things different

Last year I was at a conference where Leonard Sweet was speaking. He said something that has stuck in my head ever since.  He said.

Jesus didn’t come to make a difference, He came to make things different.

Chris Marlow with H.E.L.P. is making things different for children in Zimbabwe, and He has some BHAG’s. Chris, and his team, just launched a new campaign and a new website to help you make things different with them. The Campaign to End Poverty’s first goals are to….

Raise $40,000 for the following projects

Goal: $5000 to purchase mattresses: Many kids are sleeping on the floor. We want to purchase 100 new mattress which are $50 each.
Goal: $5000 to purchase new school uniforms: Each child will have summer & winter uniforms.
Goal: $5000 to bring in food from S. Africa which will sustain the children for many months.
Goal: $25,000 to build a new home so we can house more kids. Many kids sleep in parks, fields, or anywhere else they can find. We want to build a new home so these children have a safe place to stay.

Watch the video….

Now go to their website and see how you easily make things different for “the least of these”.

They send 100% of the money they get to Zimbabwe

Chris is the real deal; I have hung with him a few times, and he loves Jesus and is making things different.
