Church Growth, General

mercyhillrd

Mercy Hill is beginning their 3rd year as a church. From the beginning, they have had a cutting edge church web design. Pastor Keith Davis planted this church with a desire to try a new approach to the gospel in hopes of fostering the idea that “nobody walks alone”.

Mercy Hill’s mission to build a community that is accepting of an American culture that is drifting from the church has created a unique proposition for the church. Even as such a new church, Pastor Keith called us realizing that within the first 2 years of their church plant, they needed to modify their web design drastically in order to be effective long term, so they embarked on a website redesign.

Having launched their new website, Mercy Hill has not strayed from attempting to capture this non-traditional Christian culture immediately. The first impression their homepage makes is quite strong, showing a heavily tattooed young person reading a bible. The various slides on the homepage that show their “pillars” of the church are simple, to the point, and very compelling. Pastor Keith said they finally feel they have a site with a “clear, concise, beautiful design that quickly conveys to interested visitors and regular attendees what Mercy Hill and Christ is all about.”

Mercy Hill has been very successful to date, seeing steady growth through the last 3 years, and while they don’t take attendance, Pastor Keith is encouraged by the testimonies of people coming to know the Lord through their ministry and all the new faces he sees.

faithHighway is proud and excited to be a part of Mercy Hill’s church marketing plan. Whether you’re a church planter like Pastor Keith or a seasoned church or ministry, your ministry could benefit from a redesign to help reach the next level, just as Mercy Hill did.
