Vote for the Top Ten Tweeps!

Who should every pastor and church leader follow and why?

Media Outreach is putting together a list of the top 10, must follow personalities on Twitter and we want to hear from you!

If there’s one person you admire or learn from on Twitter, we want to know who it is. Are they encouraging? Challenging? Inspiring? Motivating? Funny? Tell us why people should follow them.

If selected, the person you nominate will be mentioned in faithHighway’s digital magazine that goes out to over 55 thousand pastors and church leaders.

Please post your response below.

Don’t forget to include:

  1. The actual name of the person
  2. Church/organization they are associated with
  3. Twitter name (So we can find them!)
  4. The reason why they should be followed.

Please only 1 submission per person.

The top 10 will be announced on September 1st.

    My vote is for Tony Morgan, @tonymorganlive. He should get an award for the amount of tweeting he does! Plus he has a well balanced tweet ethic. He posts challenging and inspiring articles that he has found, as well as scripture and random facts.

    I'm all about encouragement and words of wisdom… of course I enjoy the occasional joke or two, or quip about ones day so I say the ones who try to encompass all of these into a tweet gets my vote!

    @tmelle78681

    I'd vote for Terry Melle of Austin-based Hill Country Bible Church NW. He doesn't have a huge following (YET!) but casts vision and influence through his tweets and direct messages. He has spurred me on privately through twitter on several occasions. Hill Country Bible Church has a vision that "every man, woman and child in greater Austin should have the opportunity to go to Heaven because they have heard the gospel from the lips of someone from a Hill Country Bible Church." The church has planted more than a dozen churches in greater Austin while Terry was on the Elder Board, and it continues to do so now.

    Thank you for your consideration
