RIP Patrick Swayze- Swayze died at age 57 after a battle with cancer. Our thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family.

Twitter Closing New- Twitter hopes to raise around $50 million with a new group of startups from private ventures.

New Moon- The next in the Twilight Saga movies…Comes out in Nov. 2009. Watch for it in a theater near you.

Dell- Set to acquire Perot Systems, an information technology company, for $3.9 billion.

Emmys- Last night’s Emmy Awards aired during the Cowboys/Giants game. I watched the football game. If you watched the Emmy’s- Who do you think was the best dressed? What is your favorite TV show?

Renault- After a deliberate crash in a Formula 1 race to help his teammate win, the Renault F1 Team has received a 2-year suspended ban from the race.

Muse- Just released their 5th album and are spreading the word about it through interviews and television appearances. If you haven’t seen them in concert…you should try. They put on a fantastic show!

#fotb- Stands for Flash On The Beach- a three-day technology conference in Brighton, UK. The website says it’s the place to go for design, technical and inspiration for web developers.
