Each week I’ve noticed a trend in the trending topics…they are almost the same. There is always a celebrity’s birthday that gets mentioned (this week it’s Pink’s). Something is always trending about the Iphone and/or Apple. Whether it’s a new app or a bug that needs fixed, rest assured that Twitter will have the information you need. The new app this week is that Flickr is now available on Iphones.
Political rants and raves are universally tweeted. Whether it’s from an uproar in Iran or like this week, the text of Obama’s speech on education, you can find it all on Twitter. It’s inevitably becoming one of the fastest ways to get the news headlines.
Musicians and sport teams also have their fair share of tweets. This week- college football kicked off. There will undoubtedly be many upcoming tweets around college football.
With so many trending topics, I want to know what topics appeal to you? Is it the ones that deal with technology? Musicians? Celebrity gossip? Words of encouragement? Sports? Which topics do you skip over?
