Chili was brewing this past weekend at a local chili cook-off fundraiser for Casa Angelina- an orphanage in Guatemala. The faithHighway crew had its own chili cook-off team- Friggin’ Hot Chili.
Andy, Adam, Greg and Stacy were the first to show up at the event and the first to get their pot of chili cooking. The team had matching red shirts and Greg sported a full body chili pepper suit. (see picture for proof. )
There were 11 chili cook-off teams and while faithHighway didn’t win the best chili, they were in full uniform and had a festive booth.
For the past 2 years, faithHighway has been a sponsor of the Landscapes USA Chili Cook-off and fundraiser benefiting Casa Angelina. The team enjoys being part of this event to help raise money for a good cause
The faithHighway team has had the privilege to design a website for Casa Angelina, which is a part of Ivan Tait Ministries. (www.whatmattersmm.org)
Casa Angelina is a safe haven for children without a home. Most of the children the orphanage receives have been abused. The orphanage can house up to 300 children and provides them with a medical center, feeding center, basketball court, playground, and soccer field. The orphanage is in the process of building a school for the children as well.
The faithHighway team enjoys working alongside Casa Angelina to help make the ministry more available to the public through the use of the web site.
The faithHighway team had a great time at the cook-off…enjoy the pics!

I am asking for a recount of the chili cookoff voting ballots. You didn't win? Recount I say.
