Ever wonder how your tweets compare to other tweets? Are they loud enough? Are people reading them? Do you tweet too much? Not enough?
If you haven’t already used Twitter Grader, you might want to give it a try. If for nothing else, it’s fun to see where you rank in Twitter-land.
- Go to http://twitter.grader.com
- Enter your Twitter name
- Hit “Grade”
Information about your Twitter account will appear. It will give you your rank among all the other Twitter users. For example: right now @mediaoutreach is ranked 254,005 out of 5,357,294. @mediaoutreach also has a grade of 95.3 out of 100.
How does Twitter Grader calculate your grade?
They dig into the details of your account. They look at the number of followers you have compared to the number of people you follow. They look at the number of times you’re re-tweeted and the number of posts you send. They also take a look at the rankings of your followers. The more “power” your followers have will impact your grade.

You can also search the top Tweeter in a specific location: Ex: Austin, TX: @keepaustinwierd
You can also search to find a list of Tweeters in a specific area or specific keyword. Example, if I search “pastor,” it will pull in all tweeters who have “pastor” mentioned in their bio section on Twitter.
Have fun and go grade yourself! Feel free to share your grade with us.
