Twas three weeks before Christmas, and at faithHighway,
Andy sat writing BP, wondering what he could say.
“It’s too early,” he thought, “to use Noel metaphor.”
“This post must be brilliant, or people will snore.”
“We’ve covered the how’s, the do’s and do-not’s”
“What now shall I cover; what will help people lots?”
As he sat thinking, his focus grew keen.
“Three weeks before Christmas? Do you know what that means?
“The unchurched are coming! They’ll be filling the seats!”
“Church web traffic will soon greatly increase!”
“But how, my dear reader(s), can a website help you?”
“I’ve got some ideas for things you can do.”
“For starters; the basics (there will be a quiz)
“Your site is a window for who your church is. “
“Your content should be accurate and not too bizarre”
“And above all else, should show who you are.”
“By doing this a reader will be able to tell,”
“If they and your church are compatible”
“If they know up front, the church goals and beliefs”
“They might just come back, week after week.”
“The next thing that you may wish to do“
“Is craft a message that targets the new.”
“For some people, church can cause fear to arise,”
“Make sure that they know they are welcome inside.”
“The pastor can write a letter of greeting,”
“Promising them prime level seating,”
“A welcoming message that is friendly and fun,
Will only be helpful, and will offend none.”
“And finally now, one last tip to behold,
(Because Andy’s poetry is fast getting old)
“Christmas, you know, the best time of the year,”
“Should be enjoyed amongst all of your friends and your peers.”
“Put it all on the line, don’t hold anything back,”
“Use your website to go on the attack.”
“Invite people you know; invite those you do not”
“Send them to your site, just give it a shot.”
“Cause Christ should be shared all over the Earth,”
“And all should celebrate the joy of his birth.”
Yes, twas three weeks before Christmas and as you can see.
Poetry can be painful, I think you’ll agree.
So as he finally wrapped up, Andy yelled deep in the night:
“Merry Christmas to all, and add flash to your site!”

Andy. I sit next to you all day every day. Why don't you just always speak in rhymes. It could be a sign of the times.
